Course Information
Audience:
All courses are offered to owners/managers and farm staff and the modules are tailored to the needs and experience of each group.
Group Size:
We recommend 6-8 participants per course (maximum 8 participants to comply with RDPE LANDSKILLS requirements). Our experience has shown that knowledge transfer is most effective when training is delivered in small groups, for both theoretical and practical sessions
Venues:
Suitable venues will be selected based on the geographical location of the participants. If appropriate, practical on-farm training can be arranged at the premises of one for the participating trainees. Strict bio-security measures will be applied at all times.
Timing:
The RDPE LANDSKILLS contract runs from July 2008 until March 2011. We will work with you to plan training sessions throughout the whole of this period, avioding busy periods in the farming calendar. Wherever possible, on-site practical sessions will be arranged to follow the correspoonding theoretical session.
Cost:
The cost per delegate is dependent upon the type of course and the level of funding.
VAT is not included in the funding arrangements and is wholly charged to the delegates.
